Eugenian

Me at the top of Spencers Butte in Eugene

I write this blog entry from Scott's apartment on a sunny sunny Monday morning. We have nothing to do, but play in the sun, cook good food and well yes search for that job thingy! I will admit though, this "living off of unemployment" can be fun a times, well actually only when Eugene gives you a nice sunny day that wipes away all of your worries!

My first 2.5 weeks back here in my new place of new beginings has been great so far. My 2 week temp job with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where I called people for donations, was such a doozy! I could go on forever about that experience, it was just weird, and being on the phone all day super cheesy really gets to you. I feel like now every time that I am on the phone to whom ever it may be, my voice changes to super cheesy.."Hi how are you....blah balh..". I did meet a lot of people at my job, who I admire for the fact that they live their lives off of temp jobs and that is the basis of their survival, and then there was me, who couldnt cut it for 2 weeks. I have an interview at Head Start in a couple of days and I am hopefull and crossing my fingers. I also had an interivew at a bakery/cafe place and I really would like to work there and be a Barista.....but it was funny, my interview was like this....., "Have you ever had experience with food serivce, making coffee, cash register ect"....and I was like sorry lady, basically my ONLY marketable skill that I posess is that I can speak Spanish.

Andryce came and stayed with me for my first week back here and we had a great time just doing basically Emmy and Andryce things; talking, giggling(both activities done in PJs), hiking and discovering a place here that sells Peruvian brew....Cusquena and Arequipena. We even had a unexpected visitor, Philipp from Germany, for those of you who remember "The Germans".

This is a picture of my little house that is on 24th and Charnelton. It is pretty nice, cute and quiet. It is in the hills and has a great view of the Butte, hills and the city. The neighborhood that I live in is like SWANKY and then there is my house.....which looks like it belongs close to campus ...cuz well it just isn't a mansion like my next door neighboor's home. I live at the bottom of a triplex with two little houses on top of mine. My roommate is Karina, a girl I went to High School with that is the girlfriend of my brother's best friend Cameron. Once I get some pics of us, ill put those up as well. These past couple of days in Eugene have been so nice, that when I woke up this morning, I found out that there are many tulips that were planted in my front yard and they just seemed to have bloomed over night. It is awesome and reminds me of Laras wedding.

Sweet I want to come to Eugene and find this place that sells all kinds of radical beer. Where is it and what is the name of the store?

I don't think it would be vain... but spell check it first, cause my spell check wasn't working when I sent it and we all know that spelling isn'te exactlie my stronge pointt. Love the blog,,, keep it alive, even if you me and Becca are the only ones that check each others. Why do we continue to be such geeks? Why don't we just buy cell phones like normal people and text message each other. Haha, I chuckle at the thought of you sending a text message... remember when I couldn't even turn on the cell phone that the city gave me?

I'm going to eat Peruvian food in your honor today, we found a little place called Emmy's House of Peruvian Cuisine. Ok, that is a lie, but we did find a little Peruvian joint and are going to eat some lunch their today. Missing you always!!!

We love you Ms. Emmy. The five year olds asked about you for about the five hundreth time today. They also asked about Peter. For once they have their mind out of the gutter and see us as Brother and Sister. Que loco! We really have nothing to say about your blog, but are using this as a platform to say how much we think you rock! Come and visit as soon as possible! Peace out!

P.S.

You better be enjoying Oregon! This threat is from Michela, not from me.
